Laying here so still,
Eons passing by,
Tiny little pieces move,
Past closing green eyes,

Sinking downward to peace,
Lower than the sea,
Each thought creates a glimpse,
Whispering tranquility,

Still,
Ever still,
Fading with each breath,
Bluest vision of the sea,
One to be left,

Still and now adrift,
Floating downward,
Lasting just a moment,


Evermore to see,
Nontheless ignore,
Forever endlessly decending,
Toward the ocean floor,

My name is David a.k.a 'Dave the Rave' or 'Ravid' as i'm known to some of my friends! Im 19 years old and have two years of art college under my belt, both with above average grades. My artwork is starting to develop itself into its own unique style, somewhere between anime, graphic novels and portraits. As that explains i experiment alot. My favourite media is paint and pencil as the simpleness of the two make my work better. I am a struggling artist and writer as there are not many opportunities to show my work in this town hence why i joined deviant art. I have written countless poems and short stories and am now working on a novel...for the third attempt as the first two (through no fault of my own) went disasterously wrong. I am pretty good at writing poetry and can really get into my own words and my own style of writing which has changed alot since i started years ago...my own little world so to speak. I hope to go on to achieve better things in the future than what i have done so far with my artwork and my literature...so yeah, thats about it.
